Rachel's copper patinas produce unique results that she finds both intriguing and reminiscent of her other passion: outer space. The textures and colors of distant galaxies are strikingly similar to the patinas she creates.

Rachel consciously uses up-cycled and recycled materials in her work, creating pieces that can be reborn again and again. Each copper galaxy, including the sheet, hangers, feet, and hanging wire, is entirely recyclable.

Rachel works from her studio in Searsport, Maine.
