About this gallery

New shop. Old port. Same hands.

Portsmouth is our newest. We opened in 2024 in a brick storefront on Pleasant Street, and it's the most quaint of our three — a single warm room that you can take in from the doorway, but that rewards every minute you spend in it.

You'll find most of the artists we carry in Portland, plus a handful of New Hampshire makers who only show with us here: a jeweler in Dover, a glassblower in Lee, a woodturner up in Strafford County who only makes spoons.

We're new to this side of the bridge, but we're not new at this. Come in. Say hi.

P.S.The brass bell over the door is from a lobster boat. Long story.

Are you in Maine or New Hampshire?
New Hampshire — but only just. Portsmouth is right on the river. Walk five minutes and you're in Kittery, Maine.
Do you carry the same artists as Portland?
Most of them, yes. Plus a handful of NH-only makers you won't find at our other shops.
Parking?
The Hanover Street garage is one block away and almost always has room. Street parking is metered until 7pm.
Do you ship?
Yes, from this shop too. Anywhere in the US.
Can I host a small event here?
Sometimes — ask. We've done private shopping nights and one very lovely engagement.
