These Gear Clocks are crafted from recycled parts, such as sprockets, chain rings, and disc brake rotors from dirt bikes, mopeds, and bicycles. The clock faces and pendulums feature unique designs using copper and brass hardware.

Artist Info
Rachel's copper patinas produce unique results that she finds both intriguing and reminiscent of her other passion: outer space. The textures and colors of distant galaxies are strikingly similar to the patinas she creates.

Rachel consciously uses up-cycled and recycled materials in her work, creating pieces that can be reborn again and again. Each copper galaxy, including the sheet, hangers, feet, and hanging wire, is entirely recyclable. Gear Clocks are created with used sprockets, chain rings and disc brake rotors from dirt bikes, mopeds and bicycles.
