We designed this because our mugs don’t fit in normal cup holders. Our ceramic mugs are intentionally made with larger bases and wider, more comfortable handles, and nearly every car cup holder ignores that reality. Rather than compromise our mugs, we designed a holder specifically for them.

This is our original design, created and made by us here in Maine, using biodegradable TPU. TPU (thermoplastic polyurethane) is flexible, impact-resistant, and temperature-stable—ideal for a car environment. It won’t crack or shatter in heat or cold, and it flexes to absorb vibration while securely holding heavy ceramic and metal mugs. When its usable life eventually ends, the material breaks down far more responsibly than traditional rigid plastics.

The holder is purpose-built to securely hold our large Whale Tail mugs, while still working with standard ceramic mugs and many insulated travel mugs (including Stanley-style). The flexible walls grip the mug upright and stable without rattling or tipping. When not in use as a drink holder, it doubles as a compact car trash can.

This is not a generic accessory—it’s a functional extension of our mugs, made with the same values: thoughtful design, material honesty, durability, and environmental responsibility.

Warranty

Covered by a 10-year warranty. Due to the biodegradable nature of TPU, a lifetime warranty isn’t appropriate, but all manufacturing defects are fully covered.
